Luitpoldpark

The beautifully landscaped park between trees, flower beds and streams offers many attractions for young and old. There are a variety of activity areas, but also places to retreat and sit.
For example, there is space to play boules, and there is also a disc golf course.
For the children, there is a large adventure playground that offers plenty of space and equipment for romping and playing. There is a sandpit, slide, swing, seesaw and climbing equipment to discover. The playground also has integrated water elements so that water can be carried directly from the stream into the sandbox. There is also a kneipp facility with a foot-feel path. Another attraction where young and old can prove their courage is the low rope climbing garden. Climbing and scrambling is great fun for adventurers and requires strength and stamina.
In addition, the Luitpold Park is ideal for taking vehicles with you and riding your bike, running bike, tricycle or other vehicles along the paths through the green park areas.
Spacious lawns are ideal for picnics and recharging your batteries, or you can take a leisurely break in the beer garden.

A playground for ALL! The heartfelt project was implemented directly at the Oberschönenfeld Monastery excursion destination, where children with and without disabilities can play and have fun together.
The inclusive playground in Oberschönenfeld is truly for everyone. The award-winning barrier-free playground has a barrier-free water play area as well as various swings, a seesaw area, a balancing track, slides and even a table tennis table. There is something for everyone here.
Many seating options and seating groups with tables invite you to rest and picnic. Everyone should have the opportunity to be active, have fun and play on a variety of equipment.
A little tip: Not far from the playground, fallow deer and roe deer can be fed in a fenced-off area.
Hammel Water and Adventure Playground

On warm summer days, a trip to the water playground with the adjacent adventure playground in Hammel is an idea for a family outing.
Not only can creative works of art be built with water and sand, but the many pieces of equipment in the playground are also a lot of fun. A sun sail and trees provide sufficient shade on sunny days.

For your own well-being, you can wade through the cold water in the Kneipp pool or walk barefoot along the barefoot path made of natural materials. There are also plenty of benches for resting and picnicking in the park.

Idyllically situated and surrounded by woods, there is a lot for children to discover and lots of play equipment, mostly made of wood, at the Föhrenberg forest playground.
The playground is spacious and children have plenty of room to run around and explore. A small nature trail leads around the playground, where children can discover the special features of the local nature on their own.
The playground equipment is mostly made of wood, such as seesaws, rocking animals, a small castle, swings, a slide, a goal wall and a large ropeway.
Many benches invite you to rest and there is also a large covered barbecue area for a joint picnic.
