Mercury Temple Gersthofen

The Gersthofen Mercury Temple is located on the northern edge of Gersthofen - where the Via Claudia Augusta once ran. A niche in a temple grove holds a stone cast of a relief of Mercury, the god of trade. The original Roman stone monument had been found in Gersthofen.
