Bonstetten Geological and Landscape Trail
In 2007, the municipality of Bonstetten, together with the Augsburg Land Civic Foundation, the Augsburg Recreation Area Association (EVA), the Nature Park Association and with the support of the district, created a geological nature trail. The content of the educational trail is the formation of the Alpine foothills in the course of the various cold and warm periods as well as the geological structure of the Staufenberg. At 577 metres, the Staufenberg is the highest elevation in the surrounding area and played an important role in the formation of the surrounding landscape. For further information, please contact the municipality of Bonstetten or the Bürgerstiftung Augsburger Land.

Nature and cultural experience trail "Deuringer Heide"
Until 1990, the Deuringer Heide was used as a military training area. Since its decommissioning, it has developed into a near-natural landscape. With the construction of the adventure trail "Deuringer Heide" by the Nature Park Association, walkers, school classes and guided groups have the opportunity to get to know this valuable landscape in the west of Augsburg. At ten stations, children in particular are offered the opportunity to build and play with natural materials in the area.
