The Danube is a proud ruler over the majestic nature of the Danube Valleys, a cyclist's paradise in the heart of the Swabian Danube Valley. Sometimes, Her Majesty is close to her subjects, seeing them line the shore, guarding her, and preparing the way. At other times, she can only feel it as the distant valleys bow before her, creating viewpoints in her honor that people are allowed to use. Each region has its own special connection to the Danube: you encounter the hunting grounds with wild game, the playful nursery, the charming and peaceful valley of monasteries and castles, the fertile, water-rich valley, the rugged beauty with breathtaking views, and the tireless water contributor that powers the mills.

Places to rest and relax, where the eye can wander over the vast, enchanting landscape with rivers, floodplain forests, lakes, and moors, are a special feature of the cyclist's realm, the Danube Valleys. They are mostly located on the grounded soil of Bavarian Swabia. But the borders are fluid, just like the Danube itself. Paths and tours sometimes lead into neighboring Württemberg, as it’s not about geographical boundaries, but pure nature for the cyclist. It’s about river enjoyment, flowing, almost effortless movement, joy of the landscape, and cycling fun.
