Four stations - a school desk, a regulars' corner, a hunter's high seat and a writing room - are dedicated to the successful writer Ludwig Ganghofer, who grew up in Welden. A royal Bavarian forestry office shows the working situation of his father, the district forester August Ganghofer, who was decorated for his services to Bavaria's forestry. Not far away on "Ludwig Ganghofers Lausbubenweg", five experience stations recall chapters in Ganghofer's autobiographical novel "Lebenslauf eines Optimisten" (Life of an Optimist).
