The museum shows the fascination of technical progress and the associated improvement in the quality of life throughout history. But it also documents the disappearance of traditional ways of life and work. More than 4,500 exhibits are now on display there. The memory of the displaced persons and refugees from the Sudetenland, Egerland and Transylvania is kept alive in the Heimatvertriebenenstube. The Kulturbüro Königsbrunn takes care of the maintenance as well as the innovation and the guided tours.
