Perennial meditation path

Beschreibung
The perennial meditation trail has been created for people of all religions who want to reflect and meditate on themselves, God and their world while hiking through a beautiful natural landscape. This trail is a unique way of combining simple meditation exercises in the traditional forms of the major world religions with a sensual perception of a largely intact, peaceful and rural natural and cultural landscape in the "Western Forests" (nature park) of the Augsburg-Swabia region. Hikers should bring good shoes, a little stamina and, above all, time and energy. The individual meditation stations are linked in sequence, but can easily be tackled individually. The meditative exercises are described at each location and will soon also be available as a meditation booklet.
Two pilgrimage paths run along the northern and south-eastern edges of the Stauden. The meditation trail connects these two St James pilgrimage routes between Fischach and Kirch-Siebnach. The well-signposted hiking trail extends over a length of at least 36 kilometres and can be walked from north to south as well as from south to north. It is divided into five (day) stages, each of which starts or ends in one of the Stauden communities of Fischach, Langenneufnach, Walkertshofen, Mittelneufnach, Markt Wald and (Kirch-) Siebnach. With the exception of Siebnach/Ettringen (bus stops), all the villages mentioned have a railway station on the Staudenbahn and are easy to reach by train. All of the villages mentioned also offer opportunities for shopping, refreshments and overnight accommodation.
